# who is responsible

This site (igorpimentel.dev) is the personal portfolio of Igor Pimentel, who acts as the data controller under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018 — LGPD). To reach me about privacy, use any channel in the contact section.

# what data is processed

Essential local storage — the site keeps three preferences in your browser (localStorage): theme (light/dark), language and your cookie-consent choice. This data never leaves your device, is not sent to any server and does not identify you.

Analytics (optional, only with your consent) — if you accept, the site loads Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and collects usage data: pages visited, interactions, device and browser type, and approximate location. Your IP address is used by Google only transiently to derive location and is not stored. If you don't accept, Google Analytics is never loaded and no data is sent to Google.

The site has no forms, collects no email addresses, uses no advertising cookies and sells no data.

# legal basis

Analytics data is processed on the basis of your consent (LGPD, art. 7, I), given in the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time.

# sharing and international transfer

Analytics data is processed by Google (Google Analytics), which may involve international transfer to servers outside Brazil under Google's own safeguards. The site is hosted by Netlify, whose infrastructure may process technical access logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations.

# retention

• _ga/_ga_* cookies: expire within 2 years.
• Event data in Google Analytics: retained for up to 14 months.
• localStorage preferences: kept until you clear them in your browser.

# your rights

The LGPD (art. 18) grants you, among others: confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion and information about sharing. On this site, in practice:

• Withdraw consent: click the 🍪 button in the bottom-left corner and switch "analytics" off. Data collection stops immediately and the _ga cookies are removed.
• Delete everything: clear this site's data in your browser settings.
• For any other request, get in touch.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
